Q: Can I track my order when it is shipped?
Yes. When you place your order, a tracking number will be emailed or messaged to you, so you can track your package online.

Q: What method do you use to ship my plants?
A. Items are shipped via USPS Priority Mail with a tracking number. We use Priority service to ensure prompt delivery of your live cuttings, bulbs and plants, usually within 2-3 days. Sorry, we do not ship outside the USA.

Q: Do you ship internationally?
A: Sorry, we do not ship outside the USA. Plant and seed shipments are highly regulated and require special permits for international shipments. The extended transit times also make international shipping impractical and would probably result in the death of the plant, cutting or bulb.

Q: Can I request insurance for my order?
A. Yes. Insurance is free for items valued up to $50.00. Shipping will be included in your order. We are not responsible for items which might be damaged after USPS receives them for shipment.

Q: Is my privacy secure?
A. Yes, your personal information is secure. It is not kept or stored, sold to a third party, or used in any promotional or marketing program by another business. Personal information is information that is used by Eccentric Thrifter to identify and contact you; specifically your name, e-mail address, and payment method.

Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A. We accept Pay Pal for your online payment. Payments must have a Confirmed Ship-To Address only (ship-to address must be on your account). No PO box #'s please. We do not accept personal checks because of fraud issues.

Q: Can I combine Shipping?
A. Yes. Combined shipping is available on all items purchased at the same time. When shipping cuttings, I will find the most economical and quickest way to ship them to you. One payment is required to qualify for combined shipping. If you are overcharged I will refund the difference. I believe in honesty and like to treat my customers as I would like to be treated. Thanks!

Q: What is your return policy?
A: We do not accept returns. Our plants, cuttings and bulbs are in prime condition when we carefully package them and ship them out. When they leave our nursery, we have no control over how the carrier (USPS) delivers them, or how the customer handles them afterwards. If you feel that your order doesn't fit the description given, email me a photo of the purchased plants within 24 hours of receipt.

Q: What size are the cuttings that you ship out?
A. The cuttings that are shipped out are at least 6-8 inches tall or taller, and are either hardwood or semi hardwood, which root readily with proper care.

Q: When does your shipping season for selling brugmansias begin and end?
A. Because all of my plants are tropicals and are very sensitive to cold, our shipping season depends on the weather, and begins sometime in May and ends around Nov. 25th.

Are the shipping calculations always accurate?
Shipping rates are calculated based on weight, plant size, and shipping location. Because some plants require oversize boxes and travel further, the automatic rate calculation may not be correct. If you are overcharged for shipping, we will refund the excess charges. Likewise, if the system significantly under charges you for shipping, we will contact you concerning additional shipping charges before the order is shipped. We also used small box flat rate shipping. I can usually fit 4-5 cuttings per box, for $6.80 per box. Any questions, email me at gardensbykasha@yahoo.com. Thanks!

Do you sell cuttings?
Yes, I sell cuttings of Brugmansia, but ONLY in the Fall, when I cut my plants back for the winter. It really depends on the weather, and when the first hard killing frost hits.

What if my package is damaged during shipment?
Because plants are a living thing, we ship USPS Priority Mail. We are concerned about your plant arriving in good shape, so we always include free insurance up to $50.00 value. We are no less concerned about your plant arriving safely than you are, but we cannot be held responsible for damage in transit. We package responsibly with the hope that the plants, cuttings and bulbs that we’ve produced will arrive at your door intact and ready to assume their place in your garden. If your package arrives damaged as a result of rough handling during shipment, please address your complaint at www.USPS.com. Make sure to take a photograph before you contact the site and do not open your package until you have done so. You can fill out a damage report at USPS.com and request compensation for your damaged plants.
